David Jennings is a founding Director and shareholder of Nice4Work Ltd

David started in his career in Construction and Property initially in Marketing & Sales and later in General Management and was board member of a number of major companies before setting up his own businesses.

In 1990 David jointly founded and was a Joint Managing Director and Shareholder of the Salisbury Consulting Group, a recruitment, marketing and advertising group, he sold his interest in 1995.

In 1996 he founded Business Vantage a business and research consultancy which specialises in property and construction and advises major UK plc’s.

Founder Director and Chairman of Movers & Shakers the UK’s most successful and popular property networking club. Established in 1996.

A Founder Director and shareholder of Stonemartin plc an AIM listed serviced office business; founded in 1999 and floated on in 2001

David who has over 30 years experience in marketing, has held senior positions in the Construction and Property sector.


John is a co-founder of Nice4Work and was previously a shareholder and the Finance Director of Eurica Ltd where he oversaw the acquisition of a number of facilities and property mananagement companies until it was bought by ISG plc and became ISG Occupancy (ISGO). As Group Finance Director of ISGO he was responsible for the financial integration of seven property management and FM companies (T/O £30m, 2,000 Emloyees) into one operating entity, instituting standardised accounting, reporting, systems and procedures throughout the group. He was also responsible for the creation and implementation of its IT and communications strategy.

John led the financial structuring of ISGO’s major innovative multi-service FM contracts with clients, such as Liverpool Victoria (10yr- £100m) and Grosvenor (5 yr– £75m) and was responsible for delivery and profitability of on-site client-facing accounting services, enabling standardised reporting for bench-marking and providing cost information to clients by both building and department, based on space usage.

John is a chartered accountant with a background in corporate finance at Singer & Friedlander and private equity gained at BTG and through his current tenure as Investment Director at Oxford Ventures Group.

Alison's early career was in the Hospitality industry including Catering Management for the Forte Hotel Group, and Deputy Management positions at various UK locations for the Apollo Leisure Theatre Group. Alison joined serviced office group Regus in 1998 and gained valuable insight into the operation and processes of serviced offices.

In 2000 Alison joined the Facilities Team at ISG Occupancy and was responsible for various operations and providing in depth Facilities Management consultancy.

Over a 5 year period at ISG she worked with key clients including:
• Slough Estates
• The London Stock Exchange
• Grosvenor Estates
• Yahoo!

Alison was responsible for the successful mobilisation and management of several high profile contracts usually during periods of extensive change. Alison maintained a high level of Customer Service and was able to work closely with client teams during periods of disruption and unease. 

Alison provided consultancy services for Grosvenor from October 2006 – June 2010. Key projects included developing mechanisms for measuring Health and Safety Compliance and significantly improving Health and Safety Compliance within Grosvenor Property Management.

Alison started working with Nice4Work from March 2008 – initially managing the in house Facilities Team at The Portman Estate. During this time Alison created a bespoke Service Desk system that integrates fully with the property management system and accounts package. The Service Desk system manages all aspects of planned work and Health and Safety Compliance.

Alison and Fred (see Fred’s profile), have worked together since 2000 developing Nice4Work’s unique customer centric approach to FM, and its integration with Property Management. Alison has developed the Nice4Work operational ethos, operational procedures and partnerships, and sourced providers covering all aspects of FM.

As FM Director Alison is also responsible for Project Management and creation of services for the Nice4Work portfolio of managed and serviced offices.

Fred started his career as a Property Consultant specialising in Office and Industrial before joining Allied Dunbar in 1984. During the next 9 years he acquired considerable experience of occupier requirements in a dynamic business environment, leading a multi-disciplined property and facilities management team of 110 strong with a budget of £45m providing accommodation for 7,000 people.

In 1993 as a founding director of FM² one of the first new breed FM companies he was instrumental in the MBO from Allied Dunbar; he became Managing Director and successfully completed the sale and integration of the company into the Honeywell group.

In 1998 with two other partners he formed Eurica, with backing from ISG plc, which grew by acquisition to employ nearly 2,000 people, operating and managing over 10m sq ft of space. Eurica became ISG Occupancy and was sold to Erinaceous Group in 2005.

In the last 5 years he has concentrated on how property owners can attract and retain occupiers and develop new products for a changing market. He has set up and run serviced offices and played a key role in the formation of serviced office business Stonemartin leading to its float on AIM.

His professional and technical leadership has been recognised widely as founding Chairman of RICS FM Group (8,000 members) and a member of RICS General Council for 3 years.
